This season sees Original Penguin showcase its Urban Safari collection by teaming with visual artist Nas Abraham fusing both fashion and fine art.
For the new season, Original Penguin look back at their authentic heritage and to the safari for an equal part mashup of fun and functionality. This creates a unique moment that nods to the world of safari whilst infusing utilitarian practicality.
Modelled by influencers UK rap artist DJ Mikill Pane, fashion blogger Chris Millington and model Tayler Prince-Fraser, The Trelick tower acts as the backdrop with its brutalist architecture juxtaposing the soft florals that feature throughout the collection.
Nas Abraham a multi-media visual artist uses combinations of digital and hand drawn media to produce an original concept incorporating his photography reworking images to include his own illustrations enhancing the safari feel through leaves of green and brown.
Bold colours, rugged textual fabrics, hero logos, palm tree patterns and animal prints give a vibe that is both active and firmly rooted in the casual lifestyle.
A bouquet of new florals usher in a focused palette that’s to the point. Earthy colours of green and brown sit aside tonal blues.
