Men & Dogs – Feat Jim Chapman, Adrian Clark & Friends

To celebrate the launch of the new polo by Original Penguin, Exposure have teamed up with six men and their dogs and asked them why the polo, a garment that stands the test of time as a wardrobe staple, is man’s other best friend.

The six men: YouTuber Jim Chapman and his sausage dog Martha, Shortlist magazine’s Style Director Adrian Clark and his Jack Russell Crumble, model Amar Daved and his French bulldog Hugo, writer and editor Colin Chapman and his border terrier Scout, London DJ Fat Tony and his staffy Taylor, and radio presenter and model Reece Sanders with sausage dog and French bull dog Gina and Maurice.

Alongside photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce, aka GarconJon, they took to the streets surrounding the Original Penguin Covent Garden Store in London to shoot the six men with their friendly companions, all wearing the new polo from Original Penguin.

As summer hits, the commute gets warmer and the office increases by a few, clothes-shedding, degrees the polo shirt really comes into its own. Its unique ability to keep you feeling cool while looking cool is near unparalleled. Its collar and pique fabric lend the style a formality its sibling style – the standard t-shirt – lacks, making it office appropriate but fashion-credible. Its iterations throughout the years – think Blur, Jay Z, the royal family – prove that no matter what your personal style, there’s always a way to style it to your taste. There’s reason enough to invest.

Each polo is priced at £45 and will be available in Original Penguin stores and online at
