The distinctive ellesse logo – made up of half a tennis ball and ski tips as a reference to the origins of the brand – is firmly back in vogue. Founded over 50 years ago in Perugia, Italy –the brand is once again making an impact on and off the courts.
Drawing from the brand’s heritage, the new Autumn/Winter footwear range was inspired by the rigours of the tennis court. Truth is, today they perform equally well away from the baseline.
This season sees the introduction of the Tovino and the Spirito to the ellesse Heritage Trainer range.
Sat on a soft, chunky midsole for lightweight comfort, the Spirito is crafted with suede upper details for a premium fit and feel, with diamond-patterned sidewalls delivering plenty of old-school flair.
The Tovino follows more traditional lines with the laidback suede uppers encasing the streamlined shoe and the diamond-patterned architecture.
Both are finished with the iconic ellesse semi palla branding to the side and heel.
