Dismaland – a festival of art, amusements and entry-level anarchism.
Are you looking for an alternative to the sugar-coated tedium of the average family day out? Or just somewhere a lot cheaper?
Then this is the place for you. Bring the whole family to come and enjoy the latest addition to our chronic leisure surplus…
Dismaland has arrived in Weston-super-Mare. With art work from the world famous Banksy, Dismaland is set in Weston-super-Mare’s old Tropicana swimming pool. This 5 week event showcases a run down castle that is based on the much loved Disney one, the little mermaid looking as if she would see herself in the reflection of the water and a giant whale jumping from a toilet into a swimming pool. There is so much more to see and this will definitely be as, if not more popular than the Banksy exhibition a few years ago.
This exhibition will certainly bring a lot of people to Weston, with work also from the likes of Damian Hirst to bring in the crowds.
Open everyday from 22nd August – 27th September 2015.
11am – 11pm. Admission £3, free for the under 5’s.
Capacity is limited, visit the ticket page and book a time slot for guaranteed entry.
