Chicane (Nicholas Bracegirdle) is one of the most prolific producers, composers and hit makers of the last three decades. His dance anthems have successfully traversed into the commercial charts and spike instant recognition as perfect tracks for blissful beach and euphoric dance floor moments. With a penchant for featuring ethereal vocals, Bo Bruce was a perfect choice for the second single taken from his forthcoming album ‘Sum of It’s Parts’ due for release January 2015.
Bo Bruce became a household name during her time on the BBC Prime time talent show The Voice in 2012, where she gave continuous stunning performances throughout the show. Compared to a modern day Kate Bush, in many ways her young contemporary, with the same fairy spirit, unique style and vulnerable femininity, Kate herself has publicly praised Bo’s angelic individuality and talent. After leaving the show as a very credible runner up, Bo signed to Mercury records, where she has since had her second self-penned top 10 album. She is signed to Snow Patrols publishing company ‘Polar’ and collaborated on a track for the 2013 Star Trek Movie ‘Into Darkness’ with Gary Lightbody & JJ Abrams himself. This year Bo enjoyed a huge worldwide dance hit with “U’ which reached number 1 in the itunes dance chart in over 20 countries including the US. She is currently working on her third studio album due for release in 2015.
Along with completing his 7th studio album since his seminal debut in 1997, Chicane has recently finished work on the title sequence for the new Fox International Matthew Perry sitcom and still maintains a successful global DJing career. He’s had no less than 8 UK top 20 hits, collaborated with artists such as; Tom Jones, Clannad and Bryan Adams with whom he had the worldwide number 1 hit ‘Don’t Give Up’. He is also the man behind; ‘Poppiholla’ the stunning top 10 reinterpretation of Sigur Ros’s ‘Hoppipolla’. Nick’s popular Sunsets radio show podcasts are frequently at number 1 in the itunes music podcast charts, with over 800,000 shows downloaded in the last 11 months and under a variety of guises, he remains a very current and popular producer.
‘Still With Me’ is a seamless montage of sparkling melodies with the cut glass crystal of Bo’s voice weaving throughout. It sets a perfect musical backdrop for twinkling Xmas lights, crackling log fires, crisp snow and mistletoe. Released just in time for the festive season and likely to have been inspired by the stunning scenery surrounding Nick’s current home in the French Alps and memories for Bo of running free in her childhood gardens of Wiltshire. Out on Nick’s own label Modena Records ‘Still With Me’ will be released 17th November 2014 on physical formats and available on digital from October 26th.
